Lions and Tigers and ….Frogs?
Well, science lab was quite interesting yesterday. We went out to our campus lake and had to get specimens of animal life and plant life. Well, we were standing by this little creek that runs out of the lake and what do you think I saw? A frog! Well, I was happy and yelled for a container and this big frog (about the size of my palm) jumped right in and enjoyed a nice day of being stared at by college students. He was a leopard frog and here is what he looked like:
For all of you concerned about the little guy I was nice and took him back to the lake yesterday evening. Well today it was soooo nice outside that I went back to the lake to do some studying and, while I did not see the frog, I did see a Heron or something quite like one which was exciting.
