Classes? what are they?

Today was the last day of class. EVER. Well, okay so I do want to go back and take more German classes and some photography classes, but that will be a few years away or so and even then it won’t be 18hours at a time…more like 3hours .

My excitement on this subject simply cannot be contained!

I have been happy and excited all day. College really has been good to me! Despite all of the roommate problems through the years I did end up with three good roomies that I will always be great friends with and two of them are going to be bridesmaids in my wedding! So, through all the craziness of some random classes, living in 7 different rooming situations, transferring colleges second semester sophomore year, and completing some 186 credit hours, here I am! No more classes! Horrah!

My humble abode

Well, my parents helped me move into my apartment in August, but then in December when I switched apartments they were not able to come help me so they have no idea where I live! This post is for them and for friends who are far away so they can see where I am happy to reside until May. I share my apartment with one other girl whose room is next to mine!

A new week

This is the start of a new week! Hopefully I will have more motivation to complete tasks this week than last week. Since school is coming to an end it is harder and harder to actually do all of the work that is required. But at least actual classes end in about three weeks! Horray! Well, enough typing…here are the Sunday pictures! All of family this week since family is one of my favorite things in life!

Ahh the college life!

As most of you know I am taking a class in Victorian British Literature this semester. It is a small class (there are 10 of us) and it is the third or fourth time I have had Dr. Mitchell as a professor.  Well, you would think that with a gazillion English classes under my belt i would finally be able to write papers in a timely manner….WRONG! I knew about my first paper for at least three weeks before it was due (today, feb 13)….and I started it last night. I wrote on how religion plays a key role in the novel Jane Eyre. This is an interesting topic and it should not have taken me forever to write this paper, but it did. I was up til 12:00 working on the paper and when I got that done I realized I had a lab report due in Science the next day as well! So 2:00am rolled around and I was still sitting at my computer typing (this time I was typing about the difference in density between hot/cold and fresh/ salt water). I think this is enough evidence to prove that I work best under pressure because if there is no pressure to have things done I simply wont do them. So I am either under motivated or I have developed an acute case of senioritis. I think Im going to diagnose myself with senioritis since that makes me sound not so lazy.
